Anisa Castillo EXHIBIT "My piece is an black and white surreal collage. The odd elements I put into my piece such as the cat as a ballerina, spongebob in the desert, the road going into the ladies mouth, the earth, and the UFO floating, as if its “driving” towards the woman’s mouth. I blended the woman’s face so it doesn’t bold out the sky and rather blend in with it. I put the spongebob in the desert because the spongebob would dry out if he’s not in the water, which a dessert doesn't have. The random cat in the ballerina outfit will catch the eyes of the viewer and understand how odd this piece is. The ufo on the road is heading to the woman’s mouth rather than planet earth, in addition, it’s placed on the road as if it’s driving but it's not. All of my odd elements show how surreal my piece is and is achieving the purpose of my piece as I chose dislocation, transparency, levitation, and other surreal devices. "

Milton Boni EXHIBIT These images are inspired by the Idea behind the quote "Right Under Your Nose" Hidden Automotive Gems like these are walked over and ignored by the person every second, minute, hour, day, and week. We have prevented our curiosity of exploration to freely express itself within us due to many reasons some maybe being out of our control but even then we should give ourselves the opportunity to let that inner child explore our home city, where we have set our lives.

Marco Campos EXHIBIT I really enjoy taking photographs of scenery and I was inspired by this sky. The process I went for was to edit the sky to be more bold and serve as the focal point. I also appreciate how the photograph shows perspective.

Kalani Rodriguez- Colon EXHIBITThis is a drawing of my current self looking at my younger self and it’s inspired by a dance some times held during quinces were the quincenera looks through an empty mirror frame to a younger female family member, symbolizing growing up into a young lady. This was made using IbisPaintX and the simplistic style was a choice I specifically made for this drawing. I wish to convey how simple the art of growing up is, how similar and different one can be to their past and how much your younger self’s might look at you in awe as I would believe little me would. Showing all the changes and things that remained the same to the end.

Kalani Rodriguez- Colon EXHIBIT This is a drawing of an original character I have and it was inspired by creatures lurking in the shadowy waters before emerging from it to strike. It was made using IbisPaintX and a drawn sketch in real life. I wish to convey my characters true introverted nature with this art, how he sticks to the shadows, hiding within them quietly before emerging before others suddenly, unexpectedly without a noise. Coming off as mysterious, scary even if there’s more to meet the eyes that’s hidden. Maybe a smile. In a sense, it’s meant to mean you don’t know what you’re looking at, unless you take a closer look.
