Jumoke Taiwo

Jumoke Taiwo (they/them) is an interdisciplinary artist and writer born and based beside the lakewaters of Chicago, Illinois. Their art practice – most prominently 2D and video collage work – is tied together with the throughline of collaboration, memory, and care. They have built their early career between Chicago and Lagos, Nigeria as a journalist and production assistant, and currently co-steward the disability justice collective The Axis Circle.
